Digital Retail Marketing for JCPenney and Michaels

JCPenney

I worked for JCPenney as a contract production artist and was quickly brought on full time to be an assistant art director. I collaborated with creative directors, designers, copywriters, art directors, photographers, and project managers to ship 4-8 category specific emails weekly to 500k+ subscribers. I moved to the landing page team where I designed layouts for the home and shoe categories and art directed a few photoshoots.

Working within an always evolving brand identity system, I achieved pixel perfection and consistently made tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

My designs contributed to a 4% sales growth.

Michaels

As an email designer, I collaborated with creative directors, designers, project managers, copywriters, and social media directors on the digital marketing team. I fulfilled a high volume of briefs in a fast paced environment. Working within an overarching brand identity, I was able to experiment with color and design.

My email designs were sent to 180k+ subscribers, and helped increase sales by 18%.
